The blend (Ingredients in bold)

Camomile Lemongrass Loose Leaf Tea is a simple yet profound union of two ancient botanicals, designed to transport you to a state of calm. A "daydream-inducing" infusion, this blend strips away complexity to focus on purity, combining the soothing floral softness of Camomile petals with the citrus zest of Lemongrass leaves. It is a naturally caffeine-free herbal retreat that balances the warmth of the Nile Delta with the fresh vibrancy of Thailand.

The taste

On the palate, this tea offers a light, flavourful lemon character that is never tart, but tempered by "spring fresh" hints of apple and sweet honey notes from the Camomile. The Lemongrass adds a crisp, herbal layer with light touches of lemon. Steeped hot, it yields a glowing bright yellow infusion. It is a "heavenly blend" that remains smooth and drinkable, with no need for sugar or milk to mask its natural brightness.

The benefit

More than just a relaxation aid, this blend draws on centuries of wellness traditions. Camomile has been prescribed since the days of ancient Rome to calm nerves and aid digestion, while Lemongrass is traditionally believed to ease headaches and boost clarity. Together, they form a powerhouse duo for wellness - naturally caffeine-free and perfect for settling the stomach or the mind.

The moment

This is the ultimate "switch off" tea - a gentle ticket to "la-la land". It is the perfect companion for the hour before bed, or for a mid-afternoon daydream when the world feels too loud. Just as the ancient Egyptians associated Camomile with the sun god Ra, this tea brings a moment of sunny warmth to your day. Enjoy it plain to savour the "spring fresh" notes, or add a slice of lemon to enhance the citrus profile.

How to brew:

Tea: 1 heaped teaspoon | Water temp: 100°C | Brewing Time: 3-7 minutes.

Method:

To experience the light and flavourful lemon character tempered with spring-fresh hints of chamomile, start by bringing filtered or freshly drawn cold water to a rolling boil. Place one slightly heaped teaspoon of loose herbal tea for every 200–260ml of water into your teapot. Pour the boiling water over the herbs, cover, and allow to infuse for 3 to 7 minutes according to your taste. While the tea can be steeped for up to 7 minutes for a stronger taste, we recommend increasing the amount of tea leaves rather than the steeping time to avoid bitterness.

Goes well with:
As it is or with a squeeze of lemon or honey.

Pro tip:
If you find plain Chamomile a little too 'earthy' or floral, this is the blend for you. The lemongrass adds a bright, zesty citrus note that cuts through the sweetness of the chamomile flowers, making it incredibly refreshing. It’s the perfect 'wind-down' drink for the evening that actually tastes like a treat rather than a remedy. Try it iced with a drizzle of honey for a cooling, caffeine-free summer cooler!
