100% Camomile flower
Camomile tea is best made with water brought to a full boil and used immediately to allow the flowers to release their full flavour (if you’re using a teapot remember to warm the pot first). Use one teaspoon of loose leaf tea per person.
Allow to brew for 3 minutes. If you like it strong add more flowers, don't steep for longer as this will turn the flavours bitter
Drink on its own, without milk or lemon.
Miles’ Camomile flower tea is available in either a 50g pack or a 250g pack of loose leaf tea. This tea is also available in packs of 25 envelope teabags. Have you tried our Green Tea and Camomile Tea Kites?
With a hint of apple flavour coming from the tea itself, we would pair this blend with a slice of apple cake or, if you want a healthier pairing for your tea, fresh fruits.
Make sure you store your tea in an airtight container – a tin is better than plastic, or seal up the packaging it arrives in. Although tea feels dry, it contains 3% moisture and oils that are essential to its flavour. If not properly stored these can evaporate. Keep your tea in a fairly cool, dry place, which is out of sunlight and try to keep away from any spices that could taint the flavour.
