Lifestyle

A fresh country walk that finishes with a cuppa and a slice of cake…

Head to the edge of Exmoor for a stroll taking in beautiful scenery and fresh air. Thaw out in cosy cafes in the winter months and enjoy alfresco tea gardens during the summer. These are some of our favourite cafes to escape to for a delicious lunch or homemade cakes…

Driftwood Cafe

Head to Blue Anchor for a bracing walk along the pebble beach before you make your way to Driftwood Café to warm up. Inside the beach-hut inspired café you can enjoy lunch or tea and cake, while watching the waves break on the beach. During the warmer months swap the cake for ice-cream and sit outside in the sunshine in the café’s garden.

Chapel House Tea Room

Start your journey at Chapel House Tea Room, enjoy coffee and breakfast before meandering around the quaint streets of the picture-perfect, medieval village of Dunster, popping in and out of independent gift shops as you pass them. Visit Dunster Castle and wander the mill and gardens too.
