Description

We call this blend Superior for a reason. We've carefully selected three of the best quality teas available and gently blended them to produce one of our most exquisite teas for the true tea connoisseur.

How does it taste?

Each region brings with it its own unique characteristics. Assam strong and robust, Kenya rich and vibrant, Darjeeling light and delicate accompanied by a floral aroma. Blended together, these teas produce something exceptional, which is why we called it Superior

Blended by the coast

This tea has been carefully crafted, tasted and blended by our small team on Somerset's coastline.  Our attention to detail and experience ensures a consistent, flavourful tea we can't wait for you to enjoy.

We are founding members of the Ethical Tea Partnership, so each purchase directly helps to provide better living and working conditions for everyone working in the tea trade.

Ingredients

Black tea

Perfect Brew

Black tea is best made with water brought to a full boil and used immediately for the tea to release its full flavour. If you are using a teapot remember to warm the pot first. Use one teaspoon of tea per person.

Allow to brew for between 4-5 minutes. If you like your tea strong add more tea, don't steep for longer as this will turn the flavours bitter.

Drink the Superior Black with milk or on its own.

Make sure you store your tea in an air tight container, or seal up the foil packaging it arrives in. Although tea feels dry, it contains 3 % moisture and oils that are essential to its flavour, if not properly stored these can evaporate. Keep in a cool dry place but not in the fridge. Try to keep away from spices and heat sources.
