Liquorice Root 60%, Peppermint 25% & Spearmint 15%
Fruit and herbal teas are best made with water brought to a full boil and used immediately for the tea to release its full flavour (if you're using a teapot remember to warm the pot first). Use one teabag per person or one teaspoon of loose-leaf tea per person.
Allow to brew for 3-4 minutes. This fruit tea is best enjoyed on its own, without milk or lemon.
Our Liquorice, peppermint and spearmint blend is available in boxes of 15 premium, plastic-free, pyramid shaped tea kites.
If you are enjoying this blend in the morning, sip it while you eat a breakfast of smoked salmon and poached eggs. Roasted Salmon and warm potato salad will pair well with this blend, too. The sweet aniseed taste from the liquorice complements the fish.
Make sure you store your tea in an airtight container – a tin is better than plastic, or seal up the packaging it arrives in. Although tea feels dry, it contains 3 % moisture and oils that are essential to its flavour. If not properly stored these can evaporate. Keep your tea in a fairly cool, dry place, which is out of sunlight and try to keep away from any spices that could taint the flavour.
